Get Involved and Support Us at Mount Agamenticus
The Mount Agamenticus Steering Committee has been working to protect the natural resources in this area and to improve visitor experiences and safety by conducting stewardship and outreach projects that balance water quality, wildlife habitat, and sustainable recreation. The program relies heavily on support through grants, volunteers, and donations to successfully reverse the trend of erosion and habitat fragmentation that had occurred over 30 years of neglect.
The management of trails and natural resources at Mount Agamenticus is supported by funds from the conservation landowners and the following generous organizations:
| Maine Outdoor Heritage Fund | Timberland Company |
| Maine Recreational Trails Funding Program | L.L. Bean/ Maine Coast Heritage Trust |
