Join us on Saturday, July 24th from 6-8PM at the summit of  Mount Agamenticus for another partner program with the Center for Wildlife as we talk about the creatures of the night and explore the trails for a twilight hike!

How does a bat find thousands of tiny mosquitoes in the dark? Why would an opossum choose to lumber around at night? How does a porcupine defend himself against a predator? How can an owl see its way through the forest? Wild animals continue their fight for survival, even as we sleep. With the help of our non-releasable wildlife ambassadors, we will find out how nocturnal animals utilize all of their senses to find food and shelter at night.

After our interactive nocturnal animal presentation, we will hit the trails to search for both nocturnal animals and the signs they leave behind. This will be an intermediate level hike and all participants are encouraged to bring their own headlight, bug spray and weather-appropriate clothing.

This event will be held outdoors rain or shine.

Tickets are $8/person (outside link opens in new tab). All proceeds from our joint programs with the Center for Wildlife help fund the work of wildlife and environmental conservation conducted by our two organizations!
