Shared Ground – June 23

Shared Ground – A Creative Workshop on Community & Place
Tuesday, June 23, 5:30–7:00 PM
Mount Agamenticus Summit & Lodge
Free. E-mail Naomi to register[email protected]

We share this landscape with each other, wild communities, and with the water systems that sustain us all.

In this free workshop, participants will slow down and explore their connection to the Mount Agamenticus landscape through guided observation and creative reflection. After a short walk along the Big A Trail at the summit, participants will create a small handmade zine (a DIY booklet) that expresses their personal relationship to this shared ground.

No artistic skill required. This workshop is about noticing, belonging, and connecting. All materials provided.

Accessibility Note: The guided walk will take place on the accessible Big A Trail. Zine-making will be held in the summit lodge, which is accessible by stairs only. We recognize this may limit access for some participants. Ground-level outdoor workspace will be available for anyone who’d like to use it. Please contact Naomi in advance so we can best support your participation.

Free. Recommended ages 12+, though interested younger participants are invited to join with adult supervision.

Rehabilitation of the Big A Trail at the summit begins May 11 and will continue through the end of June. Sections of the trail will be closed. Please pay attention to posted signage at trail intersections. Use our Contact form or call with any questions. Office phone: (207) 361-1102 Contact Us
