On Saturday July 11, join us for a Volunteer Community Work Day here at Mount A! The focus of the day is invasive plant education and hands-on removal of buckthorn in a sensitive wetland habitat. Volunteers will hand-pull and use tools to uproot small and large plants.
Work Days are from 9 AM – 12 PM. Please bring your daypack, hiking/work boots, water bottle, insect repellent, and work gloves (we have spare gloves if you don’t have any). Tools and equipment will be provided. Light snacks and refreshments follow the event. Youth volunteers are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
