Let’s take a hike! From October 16th through 18th, we’re joining the Maine Recreation and Parks Association in celebrating local trails across the state! For the next two weeks, we’ll be highlighting and sharing resources for safely and sustainably exploring York’s incredible trails not only here at Mount Agamenticus, but “down the hill” at Goodrich Park (home of the Parks & Recreation offices) and neighboring York Land Trust sites as well!

The “official” celebration is taking place the 16th-18th, but we’re encouraging folks taking to York’s trails to share their photos with us starting TUESDAY, October 13th. Whether you’re hiking, biking, walking or rolling, this is a STATE-WIDE event, so be sure to get out to the trails near you!

You can share your photos on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtags #HitTheTrailsYorkME and #TakeAHikeWithMRPA for a chance to have them shared on our social media accounts and website! Maine Recreation and Park Association Photo Contest: Use the #TakeAHikeWithMRPA hashtag to share your photos and automatically be entered to win a $25 gift card from LL Bean. Winners will be announced the week of October 26th.
