Eyes Like a Hawk

1416

Date and Time: Saturday, September 10 | 10am-12pm
Location: Mount Agamenticus Summit (21 Mount Agamenticus Road/York, ME)

Join us with our neighbors from the Center for Wildlife and special guest Dan Gardoqui of Lead with Nature at the summit of Mount A. We’ll meet Center for Wildlife hawk ambassadors and get the chance to spot wild hawks during their annual migration.

The First Hill summit can be a great place to watch the annual hawk migration. Welcome this transitional season with an educational program about Maine birds of prey with the Center’s non-releasable raptor ambassadors! Meet some of our amazing birds and learn more about their natural history as well as what birds of prey we can find here in our region.

We will meet at the summit and immediately following our program, will have the chance to spot some of our regional bird species in the wild. Bring your binoculars!

Registration is required (outside link opens in a new tab). All proceeds from our joint programs with the Center for Wildlife help fund the work of wildlife and environmental conservation conducted by our two organizations!
