We are so excited to share that the Friends of Mount Agamenticus has been selected again to be a part of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program (external link opens in new tab) which is designed to make it easy for customers to contribute to their local community while supporting the environment.

For the month of March, each time a $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at the Hannaford located at 5 Hannaford Drive, York ME, $1 will be donated to Friends of Mount Agamenticus. Shoppers can also order a Community Bag with their groceries online via the Hannaford-To-Go service!

Curious about the Friends? The Friends of Mount Agamenticus (FOMA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer advocacy and stewardship group for the Mount Agamenticus Conservation Program.  The role of the Friends is to assist Program staff in carrying out educational, interpretive, community outreach and public use objectives without compromising the integrity of the region’s sensitive ecological habitat.
