“Know before you go” and help keep Mount A’s trails safe and open! Please continue to adhere to CDC physical distancing guidelines and follow all posted signage. The summit Learning Lodge and Conservation office remain closed to the public. If the office is staffed, we are able to talk with you outside!

• As of Sunday, July 19th, trailboxes are open! Remember that these are high-touch surfaces. If you need a map, please do take it with you, rather than returning it to the box! Trail maps are still also available online to download or print. Click here.
• Decks and platforms are open; please allow others to exit before going on to decks.
• Avoid touching hard surfaces, and bring an alcohol-based hand sanitizer;
• Running water is NOT available at the summit for handwashing or drinking at this time.
• Port-a-potties at Base and Summit are open and are cleaned by an outside company twice a week (typically on Mondays and Fridays).

All groups of 10 or more people visiting Mount A must fill out our Group Registration Form in advance.

➤ Shorten Your Visit –

• Give others an opportunity to visit & reduce the need for restroom facilities.
• Parking is LIMITED. 
• Have a back-up plan, and BE PREPARED to turn around if parking areas are full.

➤ Follow One-Way Trail Signs –

• To help follow CDC social distancing guidelines, one-way trails reduce the need to pass.
• Popular loop trails Big A and Ring are signed as one-way.
• Stay six feet apart from others, and do not gather in groups.
• Share the trail and warn others of your presence.

➤ Follow Site Rules –

Help us protect this important resource and abide by all Park Rules including:

• Stay in designated parking areas only;
• Stay on designated trails;
• Keep dogs ON LEASH;
• Take all trash with you, including pet waste.

You can donate on site via the yellow donation tubes at the base and summit, online via Square, or by check through the mail.
