Looking to work outside this summer? Join the Mount A team! Seasonal part-time Conservation Steward positions are now open, along with our Internship Program.

Conservation Stewards will assist with natural resource management, visitor/recreation management, trail maintenance and park operations. Stewards will primarily be located at Mount Agamenticus but will also report to the Cliff Walk and other park locations as needed. Work will entail a variety of trail, trailhead and facilities maintenance projects along with public outreach tasks to include improving/maintaining paths and walkways, landscaping, cleaning, restoring native habitat, promoting safe and responsible use, and leading volunteers.

Our Internship Program (unpaid) is a work/learning experience for students interested in environmental education, natural resource protection, stewardship, and parks & recreation management. Mount A provides interns with exceptional outreach and educational opportunities focusing on current conservation issues. Interns will help staff the summit Learning Lodge, develop and present displays, activities, and educational programs that teach the public about wildlife, habitats, and the natural resources found here.

Visit our Employment and Internships page for more information and to apply. Additional seasonal employment opportunities can be found through York Parks and Recreation (outside link opens in a new tab).

Application review will begin March 21.
